  • The government is launching the 'Agri Fund for Start-Ups & Rural Enterprises' (AgriSURE), a Rs 750 crore Category-II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), to support start-ups and agripreneurs, with Rs 250 crores each contributed by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, NABARD, and financial institutions.
  • NABVENTURES, a subsidiary of NABARD, will manage the AgriSURE fund, which aims to boost rural entrepreneurship and innovation in the agricultural sector.
