The Hon'ble Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri C.R. Paatil, launched the "Bhu-Neer" portal during India Water Week 2024 to streamline groundwater permits and regulation, enhancing transparency and efficiency.
Developed by the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) in partnership with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), the portal aims to promote sustainable groundwater management across India.
