The Government has announced the recipients of the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar, which honors exceptional contributions in science, technology, and innovation, with the award ceremony scheduled for August 23rd, coinciding with National Space Day.
The ISRO-Chandrayaan 3 team has been awarded the Vigyan Team Award, and Professor G. Padmanabhan has been selected for the Vigyan Ratna Award in biological sciences.
The award aims to recognize the individual and collective achievements of scientists, technologists and innovators.
