On 18 August 2025, the Union Government officially launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojna portal. Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya encouraged employers and first-time employees to benefit from the scheme, which was recently approved by the Cabinet and aims to create 3.5 crore jobs nationwide. The scheme covers all employers and first-time employees, with incentives available upon registration through the dedicated portal or UMANG app using the Universal Account Number (UAN). The scheme is divided into two components: Part A for first-time employees, and Part B for employers, both designed to boost employment generation.
