Indian-origin Gautam Raghavan has been promoted to the position of Director of the White House Personnel Office.
He takes over for Catherine Russel, who has been named Executive Director of Unicef.
Gautam Raghavan was serving as Russell's deputy to the President's Personnel in the White House Office.
