GA Srinivasa Murthy has been appointed Director of Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) of DRDO in Hyderabad.
He took over from Dr. Dashrath Ram.
He is a scientist and Programme Director of the Advanced Naval Systems Programme.
He joined DRDL in 1987 and made significant contributions to structural dynamics.
DRDL is a premier laboratory of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex.
