Retired IAS officer Preeti Sudan, who served as Health Secretary of India from 2017 to 2020, has been appointed the new Chairperson of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) effective from August 1, 2024.
Ms Sudan replaces Dr Manoj Soni, who resigned earlier this month before the end of his tenure.
