  • Former England batsman Graham Thorpe passed away at the age of 55.
  • He played 100 Tests and 82 one-day internationals for England, scoring 6,744 Test runs and 16 centuries, and was remembered as a stylish left-handed batter and beloved cricket figure.
  • Thorpe, who played 100 Test matches for England from 1993 to 2005, became seriously ill a few days after being appointed Afghanistan's head coach in 2022.
