Forbes has released its 18th annual list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women.
For the third year in a row, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was named to Forbes' list of the world's 100 most powerful women.
She is ranked 37th this year, up from 41st last year.
Falguni Nair, the founder, and CEO of Nykaa, a cosmetics and lifestyle retailer, was placed 88th.
Nirmala Sitharaman holds the distinction of being India's first full-time female finance minister.
