  • Forbes has released its 18th annual list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women.
  • For the third year in a row, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was named to Forbes' list of the world's 100 most powerful women.
  • She is ranked 37th this year, up from 41st last year.
  • Falguni Nair, the founder, and CEO of Nykaa, a cosmetics and lifestyle retailer, was placed 88th.
  • Nirmala Sitharaman holds the distinction of being India's first full-time female finance minister.
