The English translation of the pioneering Magahi novel 'Phool Bahadur' was obtained by Abhay and was displayed at the Dibrugarh University International Literature Festival.
Originally written by Jayanath Pati in 1928, the novel was brought to prominence during Abhay's editing of 'The Book of Bihari Literature'.
This novel is the first Magahi novel translated into English by 'Abhay K'.
With its publication by Penguin Random House India, 'Phool Bahadur Bahadur' presents a captivating narrative set in Bihar Sharif, Bihar, which delves into the ambitions and intrigues of characters like Mukhtar Samlal, a Nawab, a prostitute and a circle officer.
