The Indian Coast Guard's first indigenously built Pollution Control Vessel, named 'Samudra Pratap', was launched in Goa on 29th August 2024.
The vessel is designed to combat oil spills along India's coastline and was constructed by Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL).
The ship will assist in detection and prevention of oil spill incidents off the coasts of the country.
