A 100-bedded yoga and naturopathy hospital will be established in Dibrugarh, marking the first of its kind in North East India.
The institute will focus on scientific validation of traditional medicine and practices through evidence-based research.
It will serve as an international collaboration center for the promotion and research of Yoga and Naturopathy.
Additionally, the institute will function as incubation centers for startups in the yoga and wellness sector.
The foundation stone for the institute was laid by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, emphasizing Prime Minister Modi's initiative to empower Assam and the Northeast.
