Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the nationwide financial awareness campaign ‘Your Money, Your Right’ from Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The campaign, to be held across all districts of states and union territories from October to December 2025, aims to help citizens trace and claim their unclaimed financial assets such as deposits, insurance amounts, dividends, mutual fund balances, and pensions. Emphasizing the three pillars of the campaign 3A: Awareness, Access, and Action, the Finance Minister stated that every citizen’s savings must rightfully return to them or their families. Coordinated by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), the campaign brings together the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, and other financial institutions on a common platform, thereby strengthening citizen-centric, transparent, and inclusive financial governance.
