Mannu Bhandari, the famous story writer and author of popular novels like Aapka Bunty, Mahabhoj, Ek Inch Muskaan, has passed away.
She was 90 years old.
Mannu Bhandari gave many great stories and novels to Hindi literature. Her famous novel 'Yahi Sach Hai' was adapted into a movie, 'Rajnigandha', in 1974.
Mannu Bhandari was honored with several awards, including the Delhi Shikhar Samman and the KK Birla Foundation's Vyas Samman, for her outstanding literary achievements in Hindi.
