Falguni Nair, the founder of Nykaa, becomes the country's richest self-made female billionaire.
This is announced by Bloomberg Billionaires Index data.
Nykaa, which sells beauty products, continues to have a strong presence in the market today.
Falguni Nair previously worked for Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited; after leaving the bank in 2012, Falguni founded Nykaa.
