  • An exhibition showcasing India's folk art and tribal traditions - Swadesh Ka was held in Dubai. 
  • Its purpose was to acquaint people with the little-known art forms of many regions of the country, including Manjula art and Gond art. 
  • Vidisha Pandey, curator of this exhibition, said that Tikuli and Manjusha art are also there in Bihar but people know little about them.
  • Mithila paintings from Bihar, Kolam art from Tamil Nadu, tribal art from Maharashtra and the famous Murali art tradition from Kerala were prominently displayed in the exhibition.
