The Indian Navy and Royal Navy of the United Kingdom launched Exercise KONKAN-2025 on 5 October off India’s western coast. Scheduled from 5–12 October, the exercise includes a harbour phase with professional interactions and cultural exchanges, and a sea phase with anti-air, anti-surface, and anti-submarine drills. This year, the United Kingdom Carrier Strike Group 25, led by HMS Prince of Wales, participates alongside India’s INS Vikrant carrier battle group. The exercise reinforces the India-United Kingdom Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and promotes maritime security and regional stability.
