ESIC Super Specialty Hospital in Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, successfully performed its first in-house cadaver organ retrieval, involving organs from a 45-year-old brain-dead male donor.
The donated organs saved three lives; one kidney was given to a 50-year-old female patient, while the liver and another kidney were sent to Osmania General Hospital.
