The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched the Employee Enrollment Scheme 2025 from November 1, 2025, to include employees who joined organisations between July 2017 and October 2025 but were not yet covered under EPF. Employers can voluntarily enroll such employees by paying only their own EPF share, without employee arrears. The scheme will run till April 30, 2026, providing social security benefits like pension, insurance, and provident fund. Through the EPFO 3.0 digital platform, the process will be transparent and simple, expanding formal employment and strengthening India’s social security network.
