Ben Stokes, the England all-rounder, announced his decision to retire from ODI cricket.
He added that he will be playing his last ODI for England against South Africa in Durham.
Stokes, who made his debut in 2011 against Ireland, will be playing his last ODI at his home ground.
In 104 matches so far, he has scored 2,919 runs at an average of 39.44 and taken 74 wickets.
Stokes' decision follows his recent appointment as England's Test captain as Joe Root's successor.
Stokes captained the ODI side during last summer's 3-0 series victory against Pakistan.
