  • Emmanuel Macron has won a second term in the presidential election with 58.2 percent of the vote.
  • He worked as an Inspector General of Finance for four years before entering the banking sector. 
  • In addition, he served as the Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs from August 2014 to August 2016. 
  • At present, Emmanuel Macron has become the first French president in the last 20 years to win a second consecutive term after winning the presidential election.
