Twitter owner Elon Musk has picked former NBCUniversal ad sales chief Linda Yaccarino as the company's new CEO.
Musk named her the new CEO just six months after taking over Twitter and firing its top executives.
Musk will remain involved as the executive chairman and chief technology officer for Twitter.
Yaacarino is one of the women who heads Fortune 500 companies and has been rising steadily through the ranks of some of America's biggest media companies.
