Eli Lilly’s breakthrough anti-obesity and diabetes drug Mounjaro has become India’s top-selling pharmaceutical product in October 2025, recording sales worth ₹100 crore, as per Pharma Rack data. Launched in March 2025, Mounjaro’s dual-action formula targeting metabolic hormones has transformed diabetes and weight management in India. Partnered with Cipla for wider reach under the brand name Yurpeak, the drug’s affordability improved after the GST rate dropped from 18% to 5%. With total revenue reaching ₹333 crore since launch, analysts expect annual sales to soon cross ₹2,000 crore, marking Mounjaro’s dominance in India’s fast-growing healthcare market.
