E Chihana has been appointed as the new chairman of India Yamaha Motor (IYM), a manufacturer of two-wheelers.
The appointment will start on January 1, 2022.
Since 1991, E Chihana has worked with Yamaha and group companies all over the world.
He replaces Motofumi Shitara, who is returning to Japan to work for Yamaha Motor.
Chihana has extensive experience operating motorcycle businesses in Europe, North America, Africa, West Asia, and Asian markets, according to the company.
