  • The 8th edition of India-Kazakhstan joint military exercise KAZIND-2024 began at Surya Foreign Training Node, Auli, and Uttarakhand. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 30 September to 13 October 2024.
  • The aim of this exercise is to enhance joint military capabilities with a focus on counter-terrorism operations in semi-urban and mountainous terrain while promoting interoperability and cooperation between the two armies.
