The Government of India has strengthened the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) by adding 9 new commodities, raising the total tradable items to 247. This expansion aims to provide farmers and traders wider market access, transparent pricing and reduced dependence on middlemen. The new commodities include Green Tea, Tea, Ashwagandha Dry Roots, Mustard Oil, Lavender Oil, Mentha Oil, Virgin Olive Oil, Lavender Dried Flower and Broken Rice. This initiative further reinforces e-NAM as India’s largest digital agri-trade platform, fostering transparency, quality-driven trade, and inclusive growth in the agricultural sector.
