Duma Boko, leader of the Botswana National Front (BNF) since 2010 and former Leader of the Opposition (2014-2019), was declared Botswana’s 6th president as the Umbrella for Democratic Change's candidate, despite his 2019 electoral defeat in the Gaborone Bonnington North constituency by BDP's Anna Mokgethi.
