  • Dubai based Emirates airline emerges as the largest foreign airline for outbound and inbound international traffic to and from India, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation India.
  • According to DGCA data for the last quarter of 2022, Emirates is also the third largest carrier if all domestic carriers in India are included for this statistical purpose.
  • Operating 334 weekly flights between Dubai and India, Emirates carried 4.45 million passengers between the two destinations last year.
  • The United Kingdom is the most popular travel destination among European countries, receiving approximately 4.4 percent of all international travelers during the fourth quarter of 2022.\
