  • Honourable President Droupadi Murmu on March 2, 2026 launched four women-centric welfare schemes at the “Sashakt Nari, Samriddh Delhi” programme in New Delhi. The initiatives aim to enhance women’s mobility, safety, financial security and social empowerment across the capital.
  • The Pink National Common Mobility Card enables free and seamless bus travel with cashless digital access. Additionally, ration card holders will receive two free LPG cylinders annually during Holi and Diwali to ease household expenses.
  • The Delhi Lakhpati Bitiya Yojana ensures financial security for girl children through long-term deposits, while Meri Punji Mera Adhikaar guarantees timely settlement of citizens’ financial dues with transparency.
