D R d o. The full name of Defense Research and Development Organization is Defense Research and Development Organisation.
Recently DRDO has announced the launch of air defense system named 'Project Kush'.
The system will be able to detect and destroy enemy projectiles and armor, including cruise missiles, stealth fighter jets and drones at long ranges.
This indigenous system will include long-range surveillance and fire control radar and interceptor missiles.
This system will be capable of detecting and destroying targets at a range of 150 km to 200 km.
The government has allocated Rs 21700 crore for the development of Project Kush.
This system will be developed by DRDO by the year 2028-29.
