DRDO achieved a milestone with two successful flight tests of the Very Short-Range Air Defence System (VSHORADS) missile.
The tests took place on February 28 and 29 from a ground-based portable launcher in Odisha.
The tests involved engaging high-speed unmanned aerial targets.
Both missiles intercepted and destroyed the targets during the tests.
The successful tests fulfilled the mission objectives, showcasing the effectiveness of the VSHORADS system.
These tests were conducted from a ground-based portable launcher off the coast of Odisha, at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur.
