  • Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology; Earth Sciences, and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, launched India’s first pesticide-resistant bodysuit, ‘Kisan Kavach,’ designed to protect farmers from the harmful effects of pesticide exposure.
  • Developed by Sepio Health Private Limited and BRIC-InStem, this bodysuit utilizes advanced fabric technology to neutralize pesticides, providing protection against respiratory disorders, vision loss, and other health complications.
  • Priced at ₹4,000, the suit is washable and reusable, with a lifespan of up to one year, offering a sustainable solution for the long-term safety of farmers.
