DP Manu from India won the gold medal in javelin throw with a final throw of 81.58 meters.
Manu improved his throws from 78.32 meters initially to 80.59 meters on his third attempt, clinching the top spot with his sixth and final attempt.
Silver medal: Chao Tsun Cheng (Chinese Taipei) with 76.21 meters.
Bronze medal: Chao-Hong Huang (Chinese Taipei) with 71.24 meters.
