Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona has been re-elected as the President of the Dominican Republic for a second four-year term from 2024 to 2028, securing 58.85% of the vote.
Abinader has been serving as the 54th President of the Dominican Republic since 2020, and he defeated former President Leonel Fernandez, who finished second with 27.29% of the votes.
