The renowned Dmitry Dmitruk has been appointed as the new foreign coach of the Indian boxing team.
The 47-year-old Dmitry Dmitruk previously served as the high performance coach of the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA), guiding its national junior and youth teams for 12 years.
Dmitruk will be the men and women's foreign coach for the next 2 years.
He served as the high-performance coach in Ireland for the last 12 years.
He has coached notable boxers such as Joe Ward to multiple World Championships silver medals in 2015 and 2017 and Grainne Walsh to a bronze at the 2019 European Games.
