Disaster Relief Exercise 'Cyclone'

Recently disaster relief exercise 'Cyclone' was conducted by the Indian Navy.
This exercise has been started from Goa.
Apart from the Navy, Air Force, Army paramilitary forces and disaster management organizations of the states are participating in this exercise.
Apart from this, 8 countries bordering the Indian Ocean are also participating in this exercise.
The first edition of this exercise was conducted in the year 2015.
The exercise aims to develop collective and coordinated effective response mechanisms to deal with humanitarian crises and natural disasters.
