  • This exercise has been started from Goa.
  • Apart from the Navy, Air Force, Army paramilitary forces and disaster management organizations of the states are participating in this exercise.
  • Apart from this, 8 countries bordering the Indian Ocean are also participating in this exercise.
  • The first edition of this exercise was conducted in the year 2015.
  • The exercise aims to develop collective and coordinated effective response mechanisms to deal with humanitarian crises and natural disasters.
