Senior Indian Information Service officer Dhirendra Ojha has been appointed as the Director General of the Press Information Bureau, replacing Sheyphali Sharan, who has been appointed as the Director General of the Publications Division.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB), headquartered in Delhi, is the nodal agency of the Government of India responsible for disseminating information to the print and electronic media.
