  • Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education and Skill Development, has launched a 100-day education campaign called 'Padhe Bharat.'
  • The Ministry of Education has started this campaign to improve the learning level of the students.
  • The goal of this campaign is to foster in students creativity, critical thinking, vocabulary, and the ability to express themselves verbally and in writing.
  • The campaign's launch is in line with the National Education Policy 2020, which emphasises the promotion of joyful reading culture for children by ensuring the availability of age-appropriate reading books for children in their native/mother tongue/regional/tribal language.
  • 'Padhe Bharat' will also focus on various Indian languages, such as mother tongue, the local language, regional language, and so on.
