Aditya Yadav, daughter of Gorakhpur, UP, has won gold medal for her team in Deaf Olympics while creating history in Brazil.
India has won gold medal in this badminton championship for the first time.
Apart from this, Indian shooter Dhanush Srikanth has won a gold medal for India in the men's 10m air rifle event on the third day of the 24th Olympics for the Hearing Impaired in Brazil.
India is currently placed eighth on the medals table with two gold and one bronze medal.
Ukraine tops the standings currently with 19 gold, six silver and 13 bronze medals.
