Delhi Airport introduced India’s first Self-Service Bag Drop (SSBD) system, allowing passengers to independently drop off their luggage, obtain baggage tags, and print boarding passes.
The SSBD initiative aims to enhance efficiency and reduce check-in times significantly by integrating advanced technology into the check-in process at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
Implemented in collaboration with major airlines like Air India, IndiGo, and Air India Express, the system is designed to provide a seamless passenger experience by streamlining the baggage handling procedure.
