In a major leadership change, Deepinder Goyal has resigned as Director, Managing Director, and CEO of Eternal Ltd. (formerly Zomato Ltd.), subject to shareholder approval. He will now serve as Vice-Chairman, focusing on high-risk and innovative ventures outside the company’s core operations.
The board has appointed Blinkit CEO Albinder Singh Dhindsa as the new Group CEO, effective February 1. In his message to shareholders, Goyal stated that he wishes to pursue experimental ideas better suited outside a publicly listed company.
