·        The Drug Controller General of India- DCGI has approved two clinical trials of indigenous Covid vaccine Corbevax.

·        Vaccine maker Biologicals E has received permission for Phase II and III trials on children between the ages of five and eighteen under certain conditions.

·        The Department of Biotechnology and its PSU Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council – BIRAC have provided support to Biologicals E's COVID-19 Vaccine.

·        This support will be provided from the preclinical phase to the third phase of the trial.
