  • Union Minister Jeetendra Singh has launched 'SWADESH,' the world's first multimodal brain imaging data and analytics platform.
  • The project 'SWADESH' was recently developed by DBT-National Brain Research Centre (DBT-NBRC).
  • It's a one-of-a-kind brain effort that focuses on making certified neuroimaging, neurochemical, and neuropsychological data and analytics available to researchers for the treatment of brain disorders.
  • SWADESH is the first large-scale multimodal neuroimaging database with big-data architecture and analytics for various disorders built exclusively for the Indian population.
  • The DBT-NBRC is India's only institute devoted entirely to Neuroscience Research and Education.
