Tan Su Shan will become the first female CEO of DBS Group, succeeding Indian-origin banker Piyush Gupta, who is set to retire in March 2025.
Tan Su Shan was previously the Deputy CEO and Group Head of Institutional Banking at DBS, and her first association with the bank was as a university student.
Before joining DBS, Tan Su Shan had notable roles at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup and served as a nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore from 2012 to 2014.
