David Lammy was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom after Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s cabinet reshuffle. Alongside this role, he became Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor, succeeding Angela Rayner, who resigned amid a stamp duty scandal. His new role gives him key responsibilities in supporting the Prime Minister and overseeing UK justice affairs.
