The CSIR Startup Conclave 2025 was inaugurated in Lucknow by Union Minister of Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The conclave aimed to extend science and startup initiatives to smaller cities and Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns. On this occasion, India’s first swastika-shaped lotus garden and the world’s first 108-petaled lotus (NBRI-NAMO 108) were unveiled at NBRI, Lucknow, featuring 60 varieties of lotus and 50 varieties of water lilies. This initiative is set to create new opportunities in innovation, entrepreneurship, and agriculture-based industries, establishing Lucknow as a rapidly emerging hub in India’s scientific and startup ecosystem.
