  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the vaccination program for adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years will start from January 3 next year.
  • PM Narendra Modi has also announced a booster dose for frontline workers and those over the age of 60 who are ill beginning January 10.
  • He referred to it as the "precaution dose" rather than the "booster dose" (precautionary dose).
