Colombia and Uzbekistan have become the latest members of the New Development Bank (NDB), bringing the total membership to 11 ahead of the 17th BRICS Summit. Established in 2015, NDB supports infrastructure and sustainable development in emerging economies. With projects exceeding 120 across sectors like clean energy, water, transport, and digital development, the Shanghai-based bank now includes countries like India, Brazil, China, Russia, South Africa, UAE, Egypt, Bangladesh, and Algeria.
