  • Defense officials of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will hold a two-day meeting in Qingdao, China, at the end of this month, where future security cooperation among member countries will be discussed. 
  • The first meeting of the international military cooperation bodies of SCO member countries for 2025 will be held in Qingdao, Shandong province, China, from March 26 to 27. 
  • Representatives from the defense ministries of Shanghai SCO member countries and its secretariat will participate in the meeting to exchange views on future defense and security cooperation. 
  • The SCO includes ten member countries - China, Russia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus.
