  • China successfully launched the Smart Dragon-3 (Jielong-3) solid-fueled rocket on September 24, 2024, from the waters near Haiyang, Shandong Province, placing eight satellites into orbit.
  • This was the 4th flight mission of the Smart Dragon-3 series, developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) and executed by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center.
